The man who wanted to ban social media on the eve of election come December 7, Inspector General of Police (IGP) John Kudalor has tasked police personnel  towards ensuring peace during the political season.

The IGP, John Kudalor cautioned police personnel against taking partisan positions, particularly, towards the general elections.

According to him, the police service needs to work for the country, putting the needs of the country first above any political party.

"The Police administration affirms the dispensation of its duties before, during and after election. Personnel are therefore warned from taking partisan positions in the discharge of their duties. Anyone found culpable will be severely punished by the Police administration. Professionalism must and should be our watch word always."

IGP Kudalor speaking in Ho as part of his nationwide tour, John Kudalor asked personnel across the country to ensure peaceful elections come December 7 and exhibit professionalism during the election.
