Pressure from Kotoko fans urged us to beat Liberty

Dauda Mohammed has stated that the trauma they went through in the hands of their supporters, after losing 1-3 against the Scientific Soccer lads last season motivated them to avenge the defeat.

Asante Kotoko dominated play from start to finish against Liberty Professionals on Saturday, as they defeated them 0-2 at the Carl Reindorf Park, Dansoman on match day 24.

Dauda Mohammed, who opened his goal account in the second round on Saturday has expressed that they didn’t want to face the anger of their fans, like what happened last season and that motivated them to put up a fabulous performance against the Dansoman outfit

“Last year our fans were wild because they (Liberty Professionals) defeated us. We didn’t want a repeat this season and that encouraged us to beat Liberty.
