Aston Villa fans would favour a Jordan Ayew exit from the club. This was the clear verdict after birminghammail.co.uk conducted an online survey which saw more than 10,000 online users participate.
A resounding 59% of those polled confirmed that they would like the club to sell the player with 41% opting for the Ghanaian international to remain at the club.
Ayew was one of Villa’s better players last season, when they were relegated from the Premier League.
However, current claret and blues boss Steve Bruce has reportedly not been convinced by Ayew since taking charge and he could sanction a deal.
Villa already have a wealth of attacking options and, even with Rudy Gestede set to move to Middlesbrough, Ayew could also depart in January.
Ayew has made 21 Championship appearances so far this season, scoring on two occasions.
