We will ‘definitely lay off’ people appointed in Mahama’s last days – Osafo Marfo

Shortly after John Mahama's loss of the December 2016, there were reports that a number of government institutions were being filled with the appointment of people suspected to be his party faithfuls.

The Senior Minister designate, Yaw Osafo-Marfo, has said the new government will lay off people appointed after December 7, 2016

According to Mr Osafo-Marfo, during the transition the incoming administration tried to be ‘nice’ to the John Mahama led administration but the latter’s decision to make eleventh hour appointments frustrated their efforts at achieving a smooth transition.
