The youngster rose to the occasion and bagged a hat-trick to inspire his side to 4-0 victory on Wednesday at the Carl Reindorf Park on match day 22 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Liberty Professionals whiz-kid is glad to return to his goal scoring spree.
Latif Blessing had been struggling to increase his goal tally in the second round, having scored just a goal in 6 league games prior to yesterday’s hat-trick.
He has indicated that the hat-trick has really taken some pressure off his head since it was becoming a headache.
“A bit worried when the goals were not coming in the second half and also were struggling to get wins. It is God I give thanks to for the goals I scored today (Wednesday),” Blessing said.
Latif Mohammed is now the leading top scorer of the Ghana Premier League, having scored 13 goals and is a goal better than his closest contender in the race for the goal king.
