Berekum Chelsea coach asked to step aside to have encounter with God

Berekum Chelsea have not been in top form this season, lying 12th on the 16-club Ghana Premier League table.

Solomon Odwo, requested for some days off to have an encounter with God, but later rescinded his decision to continue the job.

However, the owner of the club, Nana Kwame Nketia has granted his earlier request to wait on the Lord and has asked the coach to step aside, despite the change of mind.

“The coach came to me that he wanted to have an encounter with God, so wanted to step aside for some time in his quest to receive God’s direction. But he came to me later that he has rescinded his decision.

“However, I insisted that he should step aside in order to see the face of God, until then there is no way I will let him resume his work, because I am a religious person, so I won’t do anything to interfere any attempt to draw nearer to God,” he told Happy FM.

Berekum Chelsea will host Hasaacas on Wednesday when the Ghana Premier league continues on match day 25.
