Inter Allies league survival hit a rock

Inter Allies' quest of maintaining their status as a Premier League club hit another rock on Saturday when they travelled to Bechem to play Bechem United on Match Week 24 of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

Two second half penalty goals from lead striker Abednego Tetteh were enough to hand Jimmy Cobblah's men their tenth defeat this season, pushing them to the second but last position on the league table.

An entertaining first half which saw glorious opportunities spurned by both sides gave the Eleven Is To One hopes of earning a point; their efforts were undone by lacklustre defending.

Two quick penalties in the space of five minutes in the second half saw Abednego Tetteh bury both to keep Bechem United in the driving seat.

Jimmy Cobblah's boys huffed and puffed to get themselves back into the game, but Bechem saw them off to move 12th on the league while Allies' dropped to 15th.
