The Phobians left it late to win the game after Kwame Kizito came from the bench to slot home a loose ball after Chelsea goalie John Moosie failed to win an aerial tussle with Hearts of Oak’s forward Samuel Yeboah.
"We really deserved to win the game because we performed better," Hearts of Oak coach after win against Berekum Chelsea.
Hearts of Oak thus maintain their top spot with 37 points; two points better the second placed team Wa All Stars.
“We really deserved to win the game because we performed better. Chelsea were very strong but in the end we managed to get the ball at the back of the net,” Traguil told the media after the game.
“We are playing good football, we are creating chances. Some of them we score, Kizito score, we miss few. You can also see how the defence is stronger now. We have conceded one goal since I took over and I hope we continue even if we score one goal in all the game for me it is cool. At the end of the day, It’s three points,” he added.
The Phobians on Sunday will play as guests to their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko on match day 21.
