Sulley Muntari earns more money than any Serie A player

The Ghanaian midfielder has joined the Gulf train

Sulley Muntari's new deal with Al Ittihad Jeddah will see him make more money than any player currently playing the league that he is leaving behind.

The interesting fact was revealed by Italian football expert James Horncastle in a tweet on Tuesday morning.

The Ghanaian midfielder's 7 million euro a year deal tops that of Roma's Italian international  Danielle de Rossi, who earns 6.5 million euros a year.

Muntari's Gulf adventure has seen him increase his wages significantly from the 3 million euros a year he was earning at AC Milan.
