An eye witness told Pulse News that efforts by an idle driver to halt the self-driven car proved futile
Reports indicate that the incident happened on Monday August 7 at a market near the St Louis College of Education in Kumasi when the said student was in the process of withdrawing money from a mobile money vendor to pay her fees.
An eye witness told Pulse.com.gh that efforts by an idle driver to halt the self-driven car proved futile.
“The car was parked at the top of the hill with no driver in it. All of a sudden it took off and one driver who was sitting around ran to steer it into the bushes. It dragged off a woman who sells her wares beside the road.
“A student of St Louis who had just been offered admission was also standing by the mobile money vendor waiting for some money she was cashing to go pay her fees and she was also killed,” the eye witness narrated.
Aside the deceased, other people present at the scene secured various degrees of injuries and have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospitals for medical attention.
