Ouattara is Special Guest at Nana Addo’s swearing-in ceremony

President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara will be the Special Guest Speaker at the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo, the transition team has revealed.

Eleven other Heads of State from some African and European countries and some top diplomats are expected in the country Friday ahead of the programme.

The security officers who will be drawn from the various security agencies including the Army, Police, and the National Security Apparatus will ensure a secured environment for the over 6,000 guests who are expected at the event.

The ceremony which would be held at the Independence square in Accra will witness some heads of state, the diplomatic corps, members of Parliament and senior citizens.
