Ghanaian defender gets more minutes for Leicester as Amartey sits out in draw

Jeffrey Schlupp played in Leicester City's game against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night with Daniel Amartey being an unused substitute

The Ghanaian defender played his first football game in 2016 over the weekend in the win against Norwich after a long injury layoff.

On Tuesday night, the Black Stars full back was once again introduced as a substitute, replacing Marc Albrighton in the 2-2 draw for Leicester.

Jose Salomon Rondon scored the first goal of the game for away side West Bromwich Albion. Daniel Drinkwater equalized for Claudio Ranieri’s men before Andy King scored a second for Leicester to take them 2-1 up into the first half break.

Craig Gardner in the second half leveled for West Bromwich Albion who left the King Power Stadium with a point from the team that has stunned in the current season.

Ghana international Daniel Amartey who made his debut for Leicester City in the game against Norwich City over the weekend sat out of the West Brom game as an unused substitute.
