Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a great fighter. But he’s kind of boring.
Mayweather is too quick for his opponents, so he’ll often pick his spots, dance around and then win. That’s what happened to Manny Pacquiao back in May.
On Saturday, Mayweather was having his way with Andre Berto in similar fashion.
Neither was retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya, whose rivalry with Mayweather is well documented. The Golden Boy threw some shade at the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight in May and kept pouring it on Saturday night:
