A man has been arrested for impersonating a dead delegate in the ongoing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the Ablekuma south constituency in the Greater Accra region.Sources say the electoral officials detected that though the picture on his ID card matched the one on the register, the name belonged to a delegate of the party who died sometime this year.

The NPP is electing parliamentary candidates for the 2016 elections.
The party advised all delegates, aspirants and members to “conduct themselves in the spirit of party unity at the various polling centres.”
