Previously she served with Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited as Liaison Officer on the Geita Project in Tanzania at the Dar-Es-Salaam office.
She has, since August 2010 established Recreational Facilities Management Company, which manages various leisure, fitness and sports facilities in the capital.
She is a Board Member of Enactus Ghana.
For her initiative to found Hoop Sistas basketball club and subsequently Mentoring Women Ghana, following her participation in the Fortune/State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership, where she was mentored by Donna Orender, then President of the WNBA, she part-won the Fortune/Goldman Sachs Global Women’s Leadership Award in 2008.

She also worked with SC Johnson Wax as a Brands Manager. Before Tanzania, for two and a half years she ran her own public relations and events management company - Protocol Ventures.
She is a keen tennis enthusiast and a mother of one son.
Dzogbenuku won the Miss Ghana pageant in 1991. Even though she is a member of pressure group Occupy Ghana, she cannot be described as one who is actively involved in politics.

Brigitte Dzogbenuku is the manager of the Barclays Clubhouse in Accra. She also runs a non-profit organisation Mentoring Women Ghana (MWG).
She has now be named as the running mate for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) by Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom for the December polls.
