A small community in the Lambusie Karni constituency in the Upper West boycotted this year's election to prove to the NDC that they cannot be taken for granted.

The reason for the boycott is because they hate the name of of their constituecy.

Reports indicate that out of the over 500 registered voters in the community not a single one of them voted.

This is one of the strongest protest yet in the region where a community true to its words carried out a threat not to vote.

The Electoral Commission twitter handle tweeted that "Details of affected polling stations & voters in Lambusie-Karni will be provided once confirmed"

The Lambusie Karni seat is currently held by the NDC's  Edward Kaale-Ewola Dery.
