Although details on the move are not yet clear, the report indicates that Zidane will work alongside Fabio Paratici as a director at the Turin club.

His supposed appointment at Juve comes just days after Cristiano Ronaldo also signed for the club for a club record £105m.

Both Ronaldo and Zidane enjoyed a stellar time at the Bernabeu, where they won the league, Copa del rey and three Champions League titles together.

And it appears the pair will once again be united if the latest news of Zidane’s appointment is anything to go by.

The former Real Madrid boss is no stranger at Juve, having stayed in Turin for five years during his playing days with the club.

The club has also since lost all of their last five Champions League finals, one of which came against Zidane’s Real Madrid.

It is understood that the 46-year-old manager was recruited at the behest of Juve chief Beppe Marotta, who is determined to bring the Champions League back to Turin.

Ronaldo’s signing and the supposed appointment of Zidane is expected to usher the Bianconeri into a period of European dominance.
