I am very proud of Kaya Adwoa Forson - Amissah Arthur

According to the vice president, “I am very proud of Ghanaian teenage swimmer Kaya Adwoa Forson for representing Ghana well at Rio 2016.”

Ghanas vice-President Paa  Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has hailed Ghanaian teenage swimmer Adwoa Kaya Forson for representing Ghana at the 2016 Olympics, although she failed to qualify to the next stage of the competition.

The Canadian-born Ghanaian swimmer recorded a time of 2:16.02 in the Women’s 200m freestyle swimming on Monday, August 8, 2016 when she went against Matelita Buadromo from Fiji and Shivani Shivani from India.

According to the vice president in a tweet, “I am very proud of Ghanaian teenage swimmer Kaya Adwoa Forson for representing Ghana well at Rio 2016.”

Kaya Forson is one of the 16 athletes representing Ghana at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.

The Canadian-born Ghanaian swimmer after the event said she was happy with the Olympic experience and promised to train hard for future events.
