Afriyie Acquah scores to rescue point for Torino

Afriyie Acquah scored his first goal for Torino in fantastic smile after it secured them a share of the spoils at Hellas Verona in Serie A.

The Ghana international only came on as a 51st minute substitute for NIgeria's Joel Obi on 51 minutes and pounced in the 73rd minute to equalise two minutes after Hellas had re-taken the lead in a 4-goal second half blitz in a 2-2 draw on match day 3 of the 2015/16 Italian season.

It was the 23 year old Acquah's debut strike for the Turin club he joined in the summer and it proved crucial as it helped maintain Torino's unbeaten start to the new campaign following two straight victories newly promoted, Frosinone and Fiorentina.

Torino sit second on thge Serie A log only on goal difference to surprisre leaders, Chievo Verona with both sides on seven points after three games each ahead of the games of Inter Milan, Palermo, Sassuolo and Sampdoria who all stand a chance of overtaking the top two.
