Prez Mahama verifies his name in register

President Mahama in a tweet revealed that he was in Bole to verify his details in the voters register ahead of the December elections.

President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday (August 2) verified his name in the voters’ register.

The President made this known in a tweet after he visited his hometown Bole in the Northern Region to ensure he can vote in the upcoming general elections.

President Mahama in his tweet encouraged registered voters to verify their details as well. He tweeted “I was at my polling station in Bole yesterday to check my name in the voter's register. Have you checked yours?”

Meanwhile, President Mahama’s main contender Nana Akuffo Addo was also at the Rock of Ages B Exhibition Centre in the Akyem Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, to check his details on the register.

The exhibition which is taking place in about 29,000 polling stations started on July 18 and is expected to end August 7
