Nigerian singer becomes first Afro-pop artiste to enter Guinness Book of World Records

Wizkidhas become the first Afro-pop artiste to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Nigerian musician and C.E.O of Starboy Entertainment label, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known in the showbiz circles as Wizkid, has become the first Afro-pop artiste to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The 27-year-old vocalist entered the world's most prestigious records book as a result of his contribution to Drake’s global hit record "One Dance", which topped several charts worldwide.

Even though the song belongs to Drake, Wizkid has songwriting credits for it which entered the Guinness World Record as the most played song on Spotify with over one billion streams.
