Cecil is an inspiration to all fashion designers and entrepreneurs in Ghana, and a shining example of what is possible.

Born on February 15, 1975 in Winneba, Cecil’s educational journey went from Winneba Secondary School to Yilo Krobo Secondary Commercial School and then went on to earn his degree from the University of London.

Since then, Cecil has held various positions in Zoomlion, Japan Motors, and The Multimedia Group and has risen to become the Chief Executive of CDM Fashion Couture and CDM School of Fashion.

His hard work and dedication to the fashion industry have been recognised by the Ghana Peace Awards, where he won Best Fashion Designer in 2017.

At age 14, Cecil was already honing his skills as a tailor, experimenting with fabrics and stitching together garments for his neighbours.

Despite a few missteps along the way, he eventually developed a reputation as a talented young tailor.

Now, Cecil's products are renowned for their high quality and have gained international recognition in Europe and America. He specializes in wedding and academic gowns, modern tailored suits, corporate apparel, and African wear.

As a shining example of determination and resilience, Cecil Duddley Mends stands as an inspiration to all aspiring entrepreneurs.
