UTV apologises for falsely reporting Joselyn Dumas dated DumeloV
The television station released a video interview of the actress capturing her saying she dated actor John Dumelo for two years.

The actress responded to the video, saying it was edited to indicate something she didn't say.
"The attention of management of Despite Media (UTV) has been drawn to a report circulating on social media purporting that actress Joselyn Dumas dated actor John Dumelo for two (2) years, in an exclusive interview she granted the former," UTV said in a statement. "UTV and the entire Despite Media Group apologise to Actress Joselyn Dumas for the misrepresentations and false statements attributed to her in the promo released by the station. We would like to state that there was no malicious intent to dent her image."

The statement continued: "Indeed, our ATUU programme is set to celebrate achievers in the entertainment industry and not to ruin them or their reputation. The said promo has been duly corrected and retraction has been effected on various platforms within our jurisdiction."
"Once again, we unreservedly apologise to Actress Joselyn Dumas for any harm this social media circulation might have caused her reputation.
"Management has sent a DVD copy of Joselyn Dumas’ full interview with Abeiku Santana on the ATUU programme to her for her perusal."
Dumas in her reaction said she was surprised at Abeiku Santana, the host of "Atuu," the programme she's claimed to have made the comments.
"I am particularly surprised at Abieku Satana because you are a media personnel and you know how it feels when you are misrepresented falsely," she said.

In the original interview, the curvy presenter actually said that she never dated her colleague actor John Dumelo but they were fond of each other.
"I never dated John Dumelo however i got fond of him".
Dumleo recently married his long-time girlfriend called Mawunya in a colourful ceremony which became the talk of town.
Among the attendees of that wedding was Joselyn Dumas, who has now revealed that she actually dated the actor for two years.

The award-winning actress is, however, still currently unmarried.
