The Ghanaian gospel musician who is now based in the U.S where founded the Rock Hill church, has been a subject of criticism following his revelation that by the grace of God he has acquired a Degree, Masters and PhD within 4 months.

Reacting to trolls after a Twitter user controversially disputed his degrees, Sonnie Badu said "I don't even know how old they are, have the audacity to disrespect and others are jumping".

In a video seen by pulse.com.gh, he continued that "it doesn't move me, it doesn't touch me because I know their mindset" and said, "that's why I don't live there, I know the mindset of my people that's why I don't live there".
