Singer Baroe shoots Afrocentric themed video for “Dream”

The behind-the-scenes photos show Baroe in beautiful and colourful Afrocentric outfits.

The slow tempo soulful melody was released in September 2017 and so far, it’s fair to say it has made an impact considering the early reactions from fans.

Produced by Fyber Beatz, “Dream” throws more light on the need to keep fighting and working hard until one achieves his/her dream.

In the song, Baroe blends Twi, Patois and English to create a unique Reggae tune that transcends.

The behind-the-scenes photos released by Baroe’s management Wednesday, November 29, are honestly stunning; showing the singer in her beautiful and colourful Afrocentric outfits.

To achieve its concept, video director Salifu Abdul Hafiz chooses some placid and colourful environment in Accra to shoot the video.

The video scenes include Chez Delphy B&B, Abajo Culture + Art Café and Kokrobite Garden/Beach. Inherently, graffiti artist Deff was recruited to add his golden touch to the video background and Truth Studio put together all the behind-the-scenes photos.

On working with Baroe and her team, director Salifu Abdul Hafiz divulged; "She is that you get to try different things. She is down for whatever. I love her personality and music, and also, she’s always willing to be creative.”
