An online sympathizer of ISIS has proposed a new way for militant group ISIS to use birds as suicide bombers. According to the Washington Post a new site Vocativ âwhich mines social media for its scoopesâ reported this.
Using the messaging App Telegram the so called Islamic state militant loyalist showed how this plan of using birds as suicide bombers works.
According to Vocativ the proposal â âA New Way To Down Warplanesâ â âlooked like a trolling attempt at first, but at a second glance, itâs a detailed (and creative, albeit repulsive) planâ that âoffers suggestions about which birds and explosives would be best to use, and about how to smuggle the birds into a war zone.â
The whole idea is strap a light weight bomb to a bird and train the bird to fly and detonate the bomb. The target is warplanes.
The so called ISIS loyalist says after research he found that two particular birds can be used for this purpose the peregrine falcon and RĂŒppellâs vulture.
The Washington post indicates that there is a precedent where reports have indicated that militants were strapping explosive devices to chickens âthough the farcical images that appeared at the time could not be confirmed."
According to the Washington Post âWhat this would-be radical's proposal more directly echoes is a subplot in the acclaimed tragicomic 2010 British film "Four Lions," in which a bunch of buffoonish British jihadists attempt to hatch terror plots. One includes a plan to affix bombs to crows and fly them into targets; the predictable result can be seen in the clip above."
