“How are we going to eat? – Opambour cries on TV as lockdown blocks church’s income (video)

As Ghana enters day 2 of a partial lockdown, the General Overseer of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Prophet One is already in tears.

President Akufo Addo ordered a lockdown of Accra, Tema and Kumasi for two weeks effective Monday, March 30 as part of measures to control the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

Reacting to the lockdown which has restricted movements into and from the aforementioned areas, Prophet One shed tears uncontrollably on live TV over challenges that face people in Ghana due to the lockdown.

Most churches in the country have found alternative means to spread the word of God to their congregations without the usual mass gathering but Opambour claimed the ban on church activities is making it very difficult to reach out to his members with the word.

Aside from his church and its members, the man of God also empathised with ordinary Ghanaians who are unable to work to provide for their families.

A video of him getting emotional and reaching for his handkerchief to wipe off his tears has been making rounds online.
