People who were in a queue to withdraw money from an Automated Teller Machine could not help a burst of laughter when a young man resorted to the use a long stick to operate the machine to avoid contracting COVID-19.

In the wake of the outbreak of the pandemic, some banks have shut down ATMs, advising their customers to make good use of their digital platforms but. some appear to still be in operation

As the confirmed cases continue to increase, Nigerians, just like every other countries’ nationals are not taking chances at all. The country has not less than 50 confirmed cases.

A young Nigerian man was spotted using the ATM to withdraw money but did not want to use his hands, so chose a stick to operate the machine.

Others who were waiting for their turn to use the machine could not believe their eyes as one of them could be heard asking “are you fu**ing serious?” while laughing.
