The deceased men, all cement factory workers, were on a motorbike when it collided with a school bus in Barmer in the northern state of Rajasthan.

Police complained that the men could have been saved if they had been helped to the hospital on time.

"They were lying there for at least half an hour," a police spokesman said.

"One died on the spot, another in a hospital and third on the way to Jodhpur."

The men, identified only as Parmanand, 27, and Gemaram, 30, and Chandaram, 30, were conveyed to the hospital after half an hour as bystanders took pictures and video of the accident, leaving the dying victims.

When authorities got to the scene to convey the victims to the hospital for treatment, it was too late for them to survive.

"It was inhuman. Those who were present should have helped but instead they made videos," the police spokesman said.
