Boy masturbates himself into blindness!

A 17-year-old Houston boy, Josh Turnip is struggling to regain his sight after he went blind because of his obsession with masturbation.

Masturbation, a now too common pastime of most hormonal teens has landed one in serious trouble. The young victim, who was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) confessed to masturbating over 36 times in a day before losing his sight.

According to him, he masturbated everywhere - literally! He said, “I would masturbate anywhere I could, sitting in class, swimming in the pool, behind the counter at the convenience store where I worked. It just became a habit, I didn’t even think about it anymore.”

Conferring to Dr Andrew Kramer at St. Luke’s Medical Center, ‘excessive masturbation can hasten age-related macular degeneration, or AMD, the most common cause of blindness in the West.’

Josh says his frequent masturbation began to have an effect on his health after a while. He said he began to experience blurred vision and sometimes he would faint altogether. According to him, doctors taught he had epileptic seizures.

Unfortunately, the true cause of his blackouts was only realised after he began to lose his sight. Fortunately, this type of blindness is not permanent and there’s been an improvement in his eyesight after he changed his habits.

He is now advising other youngsters and masturbators to always tread with caution.
