The maiden edition of the Social Influencers Summit was like no other

The much anticipated summit took place over the weekend at the Impact Hub, Accra on July 21 2018. The event hosted some of Ghanas business moguls in corporate Ghana and some renowned influencers.

The focal point of the summit was a practical breakout sessions where reputed resource persons in the industry lectured participants, the right and internationally accepted ways of being a true social media influencer.

The speakers present at the event were: Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo - PR Business Lead at Ogilvy Ghana & West Africa, Gabriel Opoku-Asare, Corporate Relations Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited Bernard Sokpe - Chief Brand Consultant at Brand Meister, Stephen N. Boadi - Digital Marketing & Communications Professional at Enable Growth Consult, , Naa Oyoo Kumodzi - Social Media Consultant and Brand Influencer, Ben Bond - Photographer at OAB Photography, Adiki Ayitevie – Senior Director of Communications and External Relations at Newmont Ghana Gold Limited Jessica Naa Adjeley - Digital marketer & Fashion Blogger and Nana Poku – Managing Partner at Vertical Limits Productions.

These respected resources persons touched on matters like; “How to Price a Gig, Understanding Insights and Your Audience, Building Your Influence and Authenticity, Understanding the Needs of Corporate Ghana” among others.

Speaking to Pulse Ghana, The Co-Lead for the project, Naa Oyoo Kumodzi asserted that the summit was to help bridge the knowledge and skills gap in the budding Ghanaian influencer marketing industry.
