It is pathetic to want to be loved specially by that one person. Wanting to meet the one becomes important for some people because they have tried settling for that guy or girl who makes them feel like they are in love or in something like almost like love.

After a while, they realize that settling was a big mistake, and they get back to looking for the one. Finding the one can be a toughie. It is possible to search year after year and come up with nothing. You aren’t finding the one because of a number of reasons. Here are a few of them.

Romantic love isn’t all there is to life- the world is a tough hard place; it is also a beautiful sunny place, with so much to enjoy. Romantic love isn’t the only ticket to happiness; there’s so much to life than romantic love. While you wait for love, spend you energies loving something else, like puppies or wine.

The universe doesn’t always help those who search enough-the universe helps those who work hard enough, or wish hard enough, or so the saying goes. But luck can be elusive sometimes; when you let things go they often come to you. The harder you try to chase love, the further away it slips from you.

You come across as desperate-When a person is desperate to find a love, he or she may not realize that their conversations with others may be too transparent, presenting them in a desperate light. You do not have to tell your life story and personal details the first time you meet someone.  If this happens potential partners will not find you appealing.

You are afraid of being alone- a part of you is afraid of being alone. Because of this fear you place so much emphasis on how people treat you; your happiness is dependent on others. The thing is people can smell fear from afar; no one wants to be utterly responsible for another person’s happiness. So do you; understand that you’re enough and love will come knocking at your door.
