Arsenal fan gets married in full football kit

One Arsenal fan has taken his wedding celebrations to a whole new level.

A wedding is arguably the most important day of your life.

A day to share with your cherished companion. Where two souls become one and all that jazz. Most weddings follow a traditional form. Tops and tails for the men and wedding dresses for the women.

But one particularly ballsy Arsenal fan has decided to tie the knot in very different attire.

The Gooner got married in a full Arsenal kit. That’s right. A full Arsenal kit.

Barry Jenkins walked up the aisle wearing the entire Gunners strip. Shirt, shorts, boots, shin pads – the lot. The man wrote in social media posts that his wife had given him permission to wear the unique wedding day dress.

‘My wife is from Woking, and she is awesome,’ he wrote. ‘She let me get married in my full Arsenal kit! Maybe I just got lucky.’

In another post he compared his clearly tolerant wife to the FA Cup, a competition Arsenal are certainly used to winning.

‘It’s like I won the FA Cup and found the best woman in the world ever,’ he said.

Mesut Ozil invited one Arsenal supporter to a game after he dedicated his wedding speech to the German assist master rather than his wife.
