Hey, remember back in March when Halle Berry revealed a huge tattoo on her back ? Turns out, it was totally fake. (Yep, she definitely fooled everyone.)
Halle, 51, shared her impressive "new" ink in an Instagram post on March 5th-a gorgeous vine design that began at the top of her sequin skirt and followed her spine up to the nape of her neck. But last week, she appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden and set the record straight. Alas, her massive back tattoo was only temporary.
She told James, "I am starting a new movie in a few months so Im trying out different tattoos to see what will fit best for my character." So far, Halle has only shown the one vine design publicly, but if it's any indication of her future role, her new character seems pretty badass.
The vine artwork may be gone, but there is more ink to come as she continues taking designs out for test runs. Youll see me in the months ahead in many different tattoos that Im trying out, she said. Halle didn't offer clues about what these future tattoo trials may look like or where they will appear yet.
"And Im discovering how long they will last, how much wear I would get out of one, so I know how much its all going to cost, she added.
But testing out tattoos is just one way Halle prepares for new roles . For her recent role in John Wick she trained with Peter Lee Thomas using Bulgarian bags. She's in good company. The Bulgarian bags were created to train Olympians and they also help sculpt strong backs. She also follows the keto diet and incorporates intermittent fasting.
Honestly, I'll be stalking her Instagram in the coming months just to peep even more huge back tattoos from Halle. I can't wait to see what she tries out next.
