As the pressure keeps mounting on Jose Mourinho, Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti is reported to be on standby to take over at Chelsea.
Ancelotti with -former Chelsea player Claude Makelele as his assistant- has emerged the as a possible candidate to replace Chelsea.
The former Real Madrid manager worked with Makalele during his two-year stint at Paris Saint-Germain.
Both are currently available and have been targeted by Chelsea to replace Mourinho.
The Italian manager and former France international both enjoyed success, although at different times and remain popular among club fans.

Coincidentally, Ancelotti is in London but he insists he’s there just for the holidays.
