Agyemang Badu throws shade at Kwesi Appiah after Black Stars snub
The Black Stars midfielder’s comment on social media might end his international football career under Kwesi Appiah
The Black Stars gaffer left the former Udinese midfielder from his 24-man squad for Ghana’s qualifiers against Congo in September.
He and his close friend Mubarak Wakaso have been overlooked for the second time since the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko skipper took charge as coach of the national team.
"You can’t retire a King," Badu, who is enjoying an upsurge in form at Turkish side Bursaspor after recently joining from Italian side Udinese, wrote on Instagram on Monday.
Agyemang Badu was part of the Black Stars team that represented Ghana in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil under James Kwesi Appiah in his first stint with the team.
Agyemang-Badu is currently plying his trade with Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor.
