She has been litigating with Volta Resources Limited, a minerals exploration company since February 2015 on allegations that she was encroaching on their concession.

The Director of Volta Resources, Nana Kofi Sarfo Prempeh has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) regarding the non-seizure of excavators belonging to Aisha Huang.

In August 2016, some residents of Bepotenteng with support from national security seized some excavators belonging to Aisha Huang.
