Turkey will continue awarding scholarships and organizing training for young Cameroonians, says the outgoing Turkish Ambassador to the country, His Excellency Omer Faruk Dogan.

Speaking during a Monday meeting with the Minister of Youth Affairs, Bidoung Mkpatt, in the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé, Dogan described the country's youths as "a treasure".

The Ambassador thanked Mkpatt for supporting him support during his three-year tour of duty, adding that he is confident in the youths' ability to develop the Central African country.

Responding, Mkpatt said he hopes for a continuous cooperation between Cameroon and Turkey.
