His song featured on Pulse Ghana's top 10 campaign songs in 2016.

The sad news is, Mr Ackah has been hit by a strange illness causing him to have a 'bloated face.

In his moment of illness, Mr Ackah was expecting support from the National Democratic Congress, a party he has sacrificed his music career for.

But Mr Ackah says he has been neglected by the NDC. According to him, the NDC does not give him money and when it was in power, he never benefited from the party.

He told Accra-based Adom that if he was to charge for the voluntary work he did for the NDC, it would be over billions of cedis.

” NDC does not give money; they neglected me even in power. After that composition, I became a typical NDC. I did the song for free, and if I were supposed to charge for it will be over billions of cedis,” he said.

In a separate interview with Onua FM also in Accra, Mr Ackah revealed that he has been battling with so many sicknesses including stroke.

"I have been battling with stroke, leg pain and I mean so many things. I just give thanks to the Almighty God for even bringing me this far," he said.

At first, I couldn’t walk nor speak. For now, I am able to walk a little but not all that good as compared to the first."
