According to her, the government is implementing policies which will help change fortunes of Ghana.

Ghanaians have lamented that the state of the economy does not warrant giving Nana Addo and his government a thumbs up.

Some said the cost of living is unbearable for which the government must act swiftly to mitigate the economic burden on citizens.

On Tuesday, December 18, Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong described as excruciating economic difficulties under the government.

He said Ghanaians are ending the year with nothing to celebrate Christmas and described it as a 'dry' season.

Speaking on Adom TV, the maverick politician said "What kind of dry Christmas is this? I promised my constituents but I won’t go there this Christmas because I don't have money."

His comments come at the back of the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ms Christine Lagarde, who said the economy is in a better place under the government than it was two years ago.

But the NPP National Women's Organiser said policies are being implemented by the government to improve the lives of all Ghanaians, adding that "Ghanaians should stop complaining and support the government to deliver."

Addressing market women in Kumasi as part of Second Lady Samira Bawumia's tour of the Ashanti Region, Kate Gyamfua said "President Akufo-Addo as a visionary leader will continue to implement good to make Ghanaians enjoy a better life. No government will pound fufu and serve Ghanaians every day and night. Ghana is hard for those who are lazy. Ghanaians should stop complaining and support the government to deliver. President Akufo-Addo will deliver and make Ghanaians proud.
