The lawyers who made this known during cross examination, indicated that Mr. Afokodeliberately submitted to the national council of the NPP a list of members who were to form the disciplinary committee of the Party with only one woman included contrary to the constitutional provision requiring two women.
Mr. Afoko filed the suit challenging his suspension as National Chairman of the NPP after National Executive Committee of the party suspended him in October 2015 for misconduct of which decision was adopted by the partyâs National Council.
In his suit, the plaintiff claims the action and processes leading to his suspension by some elements of the party were unconstitutional and a breach of natural justice.
He also challenged the locus of one member of the disciplinary committee Gifty Kusi who was part of the decision to suspend him.
