Ex-Kotoko chairman passes away
Alhaji Salifu Abubakar ‘aka Alhaji Njie’, who served the Porcupine Warriors in divers ways has passed on in Kumasi
He passed away on Wednesday at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) after battling with illness.
Alhaji Njie, a business mogul was the chairman of the Interim Management Committee of Kumasi Asante Kotoko which had Yamoah Ponkoh and Mr Yaw Gyasi as members.
He was also a member of the Kotoko Board under the chairmanship of the late PV Obeng.
The late Alhaji Njie will be buried in Kumasi on Thursday in accordance to Islamic tradition.
