Although Diego Simeone’s men eventually lost the game, thanks to a last-minute strike from Lionel Messi, Fabregas reserved praise for Partey.

In a Twitter post, World Cup winner described Partey as a very good player after watching the midfielder star against Barcelona.

“Thomas es muy bueno,” Fabregas wrote, which translates as, “Thomas [Partey] is very good”.
