But Prince Opoku Agyemang converted from the spot to register his fourth goal in three games at to hand victory to Medeama who last last weekend to Dreams FC.

AshantiGold come close to levelling two minutes later but Eric Donkor's curling shot from a free-kick struck the framework.

Medeama held on to the one goal to claim all three points to move to retain their third position on the league standings but will be levelled on points with second placed Aduana Stars.
