T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School are the new winners of the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Soccer Championship, after they defeated Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) 4-3 on penalties on Monday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
They game ended one all in regulation time, before Amass won in the penalty shootout.

Opoku Ware started the scoring in the second half through Enoch Owusu from the spot kick, before Faisal Mohammed restored parity for Amass in the 70 minute.

Both sides scored their first three kicks but Owass failed to convert their fourth kick. T. I Amass scored their fourth kick. Owass failed to score their fifth kick, thereby rendering Amassâ last kick irrelevant to be taken.
T.I Amass piped Islamic SHS 1-0 in the semi-finals, whereas Opoku Ware Senior High School thrashed Asanteman Senior High School 4-1 to reach the final.
Handled by Prince 'Sabuto' Acheampong, a former Asante Kotoko and King Faisal assistant coach, T.I AMASS lifted their first trophy since 2009.

Prior to the final, Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah, who is an old student of Owass visited the team to boost their morale, but it wasnât enough to grant the Santasi boys victory.
In the third place, Asanteman senior high school managed to beat Islamic senior high school 4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
