Samudeen to undergo fittest test on Friday ahead of Medeama clash

The Hearts of Oak whiz-kid has a 50-50 chance of playing in their game against the Yellow and Mauve side.

The 19-year-old was stretched off in Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 victory over New Edubiase United last week Sunday, but returned to the field limping throughout the remaining minutes, because the Phobians had exhausted all their 3 substitutions.

However, a scan at the Korle Bu Hospital shows Samudeen Ibrahim had no broken bone or fracture in his leg, but his toe got swollen in the process and would be declared fit or otherwise for their clash against Medeama by the Hearts of Oak medical team on Friday.

“Samudeen took a scan at the Korle Bu Hospital, but it shows he has no broken bone or fracture in his leg. It is his toe that got swollen and he will undergo fitness test on Friday ahead of the Medeama game,” Opare Addo, the Hearts of Oak PRO told Pulse Sports.

He was the toast of the fans that trooped to the Accra Sports Stadium to watch the Hearts of Oak win against New Edubiase United, as he dazzled his opponents to win the man of the match award.
