Arsenal midfielder faces long spell out with injury

Arsenal are set to miss another midfielder to a long term injury after losing Jack Wilshere.

Tomas Rosicky Arsene Wenger has confirm will be missing for some months after following minor knee surgery.

The 34-year-old has been struggling with the injury since June after international duty with the Czech Republic.

Ahead of their English Premier League game trip to Crystal Palace, Wenger said that the midfielder will be out for more than two months.

"Tomas has had surgery on his knee. His agent said he will be out for one or two months, but it will be longer," Wenger said.

"How long exactly, we don’t know yet."

Wenger also gave an update on Wilshere, revealing that the midfielder is following the schedule for his return.

"We said Jack would be out for four weeks, and he’s in the second week now so he’s on schedule," Wenger said.

Arsenal were without right-back sensation Hector Bellerin in their opening 0-2 loss to , but Wenger says the Spanish full-back will be return for their game against Crystal Palace.
