Uganda have arranged a friendly with Slovakia on January 8, 2017 in UAE where they will camp ahead of the next year's AFCON

Ghanas group D opponent Uganda will be playing a friendly game against Slovakia at their camping base in United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 8th January, 2017 as part of their preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Gabon.

The game is set to be played at the Army Stadium, before they take on Ivory Coast the winners of the last edition of the AFCON held in Equatorial Guinea in 2015.
The Cranes of Uganda will face Ghana in their opening AFCON game in Port Gentil.
Uganda will commence camping in the UAE from 5th January and break on 14th January, before flying to Gabon for the continental showpiece.
