Fox is developing a spin-off with new lead character

FOX is currently developing a spin-off to its hit show '24' - TVLine reports.

According to the report, the new show would feature a new lead male character in place of Jack Bauer.

The announcement was recently made by executive producer Howard Gordon.

While the new protagonist has not been casted, fans of the hit show can't get over the absence of Bauer from show.

Bauer made his last '24' appearance in 'Live Another Day.'

The upcoming spin-off will be written and executive produced by Manny Coto and Evan Katz.
