Black Starlets thrash Burkina Faso 5-1

Razak Junior shot the visitors into the lead in the 9th minute, but Black Starlets survived the scare by scoring two goals through Emmanuel Toku and skipper of the side Eric Ayiah in the 22nd and 39 minutes respectively to end the first half.

Back from recess Ghana went on rampage by scoring three goals through Eric Ayiah once again to register a brace, before Isaac Antah and Nathaniel Onyinah Opoku nailed the Burkinabe in the coffin with the 4th and fifth goals.

The win has given Ghana a huge advantage moving into the second leg in Burkinafaso.

The Black Starlets are determined to book a place to the African U-17 Championship to be staged in Madagascar in 2017.
